December 13-19, 2020
  • Pray and ask God who you can help this week and in what ways you can help them.
  • Pray for those in your life who don't know Jesus yet (and invite them to join you for the Christmas Gathering this Sunday, Dec. 20).
  • Pray for the Christmas Gathering and that individuals who don't know Jesus yet would encounter Him as the HOPE of the world.

December 6-12, 2020
  • This week in your time of prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the promises God has for you and for your family during this season.
  • Based on Sunday's message focused on HOPE through the power of prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal anything that needs to be confessed, repent, and then ask for the strength to walk in forgiveness.
  • Ask God for boldness and courage this week to reach out and invite your friends, family members, and neighbors who don't know Jesus to join you for the Christmas Gathering on Dec. 20.

November 29-December 5, 2020
  • Spend time this week asking God for wisdom in how to steward (be a wise manager) all that He has entrusted to your care -- finances, family, time, job, etc.
  • Pray daily for those in your life who need to experience the HOPE found in Jesus and start to think of ways to invite them to join you for the Christmas Gathering on December 20.
November 22-28, 2020
  • As you consider your relationships with your family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, spend time daily this week praying through these verses, asking the Holy Spirit to bring specific action steps to mind:
    • “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
    • “Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.” – Proverbs 17:9
    • “He [God] heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3
    • “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” – Ephesians 4:2-3

November 15-21, 2020
  • Pray for the individuals in your life by name who do not know Jesus yet. Ask God to provide opportunities for you to tangibly show and share God's love with them this week.
  • Ask God to give you wisdom this week to have His perspective in the situations you face so that you may experience HOPE in each day.
  • Pray James 1:2-5 over yourself and your family this week: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."

November 8-14, 2020
  • Ask God to remind you of who He is this week as your Heavenly Father -- trustworthy, available, and loving towards you.
  • Pray over yourself, your family, and others in your life -- that you would be reminded of your identity as a Child of God, the authority you have through the Holy Spirit, and the purpose God created you with.
  • Pray this verse as a reminder this week: "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." Romans 8:11

November 1-7, 2020
  • Pray this verse for yourself, your family, and those in your life who need hope today. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
  • Watch the movie "War Room" with your family, small group, friends, or neighbors. Then make a list of the specific things you (your family) will be praying for over the next 50 days. Click to view the movie trailer.
  • Make a list of names of 1-3 individuals in your life who don't know Jesus yet. Commit to praying daily for these individuals.
