Prayer

The Bible says that prayer is powerful and effective (James 5:16).  At Epic Church we believe and have seen the truth of this promise.  When we pray, we are unleashing power from Heaven to come and touch the earth and it makes a significant difference.  The impact of prayer can bind up our spiritual adversary, it can release spiritual strongholds, it can bring about physical and emotional healing, and it can also prepare the “spiritual soil” of one’s heart who is far from God.  Prayer changes things, it can certainly change our circumstances (and often does), but most of all, prayer changes us.  Jesus reminds us that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, so we should never be afraid to ask.  At the same time, we trust the character and wisdom of our Heavenly Father and as we pray bold prayers, we know that He hears us and will lovingly respond in His timing and ways which will ultimately be best…even if we don’t always understand (Isaiah 55:8-9 & Romans 8:28).  At Epic Church, we believe that prayer is the foundation to our entire ministry.
