ECUADOR/CHILLANES: July 18-26, 2025

Sports Camp Verse for the week
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off
everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with
perseverance the race marked out for us,    fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter
of faith. 
Hebrews 12:1-2

Friday, July 18 –Safe travels to Chicago and Quito. For unity and joy as we start our journey
together. May all of our luggage and supplies arrive with us with zero complications at all. We
are taking many medical supplies, so please pray there are no issues with any of our luggage.

Saturday, July 19 – Safe bus travels to San Miguel. Pray for protection, good health and easy
assimilation into our new environment. May we take this travel time and let God speak to us
and unify the team

Sunday, July 20– Safe travels to Chillanes and protection. For God’s love and grace to be
amongst us as we meet our brothers and sisters from the church in Chillanes and a new
church plant. May we bring a spirit of joy and encouragement from the LORD for the families
and children we encounter. Pastor Jeremy will be preaching at these churches.

Monday, July 21 – Safe travels to/from Chillanes and protection. May the Holy Spirit lead us
to touch the hearts of everyone we encounter. Pray that all the kids and youth would
experience the love of Jesus through us as we serve them. Pray that those who need medical
attention will be able to find the care they need during the medical clinics this week.

Tuesday, July 22 – Safe travels to/from Chillanes and protection. For extra strength and
wisdom as we interact and serve the kids but also for intentional attention to the voice of the
Holy Spirit as we interact with them. May there be encouragement as we continue to talk
about God’s plan for our lives and learn what it means to be a disciple who makes disciples.

Wednesday, July 23 – Safe travels to/from Chillanes . Today we finish the last day of camp,
medical clinics, and the painting. May the staff at the project be encouraged, and may we be
led by the Holy Spirit to pray specific prayers over them. Please pray for a day with great
weather, no accidents, and lots of joy and laughter

Thursday, July 24 – Safe travels back to Quito and protection. For the Holy Spirit to use this
time to speak into our hearts with clarity about what He wants us to learn. May we not miss a
detail of what God wants to do through this trip.

Friday/Sat July 25-26 – Safe travels and protection as we spend the day in Quito before we
fly out. Safe travels to Mishawaka, protection and good health as we come back into the
country. For grace and patience to be a characteristic of our team even after we get home.
May we love each other well, and may others know that it is because of Jesus!


Additional Ways To Pray Each Day:

May we be led by the Spirit, listen, and act!

May all who we interact with see and experience the love of Jesus. May lives be
transformed.

Pray that anyone from their community who is struggling and needs counseling would
reach out for counsel.

Pray against the ways and works of the enemy…May he be bound in Jesus' name!!

Pray for excellent weather while we are in Chillanes. Many of our activities are outside!

Pray for our bus drivers.

Pray for Pastor Italo, Angie, and the staff as they coordinate over 1000 meals!

May Pastor Italo and his family, and the new church plant and their family be
encouraged.

Pray for Pastor Mario and his leadership as he leads us in Ecuador.

Pray our team will be an encouragement to each other and our partners in Chillanes.

Pray for Ana Cristina and our translators: clarity in communication, strength, and being
led by the Holy Spirit.

May our team experience unity, openness, and grace in a supernatural way.

May we be flexible and have a positive attitude.

Pray a hedge of protection over the team and their families.

Good health, no allergic reactions, no sickness on the trip, no accidents.

Smooth travel by bus, plane, cars, walking, and any other mode of transportation!

We have several youth coming on this trip. Please pray that God would use this
experience in their hearts and lives to ignite and flame a passion for Him and others
that they carry with them.

May we all be disciples who make disciples as we Live In + Live Out God's Love!
